Frequently Asked Questions
What is Life Coaching?
A life coach is a type of wellness professional who helps people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaches aid their clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. Life coaches can help you clarify your goals and identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle. In creating these strategies, a coach taps into your unique skills and gifts. By helping you to make the most of your strengths and build new tools, life coaches provide the support you need to achieve long-lasting change.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in helping individuals who are in the midst of an injury that is being addressed physically but are struggling with the mental recovery. Medical doctors and physical therapists concentrate on fixing and healing the physical injury but very often high achievers struggle with the mental side of recovery, an area that medical doctors and physical therapists are not necessarily able to address. Similar to building muscles after surgery, I help clients build their mental resilience muscles in conjunction with the client’s traditional therapies. Mental fitness can be defined as having and maintaining a state of well-being and cultivating awareness of how we think, behave and feel. Just as physical fitness provides us with an increased ability to respond to life in all its richness, mental fitness helps in the same way
What is your background ?
I had an early interest in psychology and received my B.A. from The University of Michigan. After several years in a sales and leadership career I was intrigued by the concept of how life coaches help people better understand themselves to achieve their biggest goals. I graduated from The Institute for Excellence in Professional Coaching in 2014 with two certificates and then achieved my ACC from The International Coaching Federation. I apply assessments, tools and the methodology of Positive Intelligence in our work.
How do we work together ?
Behavior change takes time. It takes a commitment to make small and measurable changes in ones life. When you are in pain or have limited mobility it can be hard to "add more work" to your day. I promise this won't be work, in fact it will give you the motivation to take greater control of your recovery. A coaching program is 6 sessions that can be used at your pace and it can be renewed. It will include an in depth assessment on how you are showing up energetically in your day to day life, your baseline. You will learn concepts that will help you shift to a growth mindset, to see possibilities. We will discuss what may be holding you back and we will establish an individual roadmap for your recovery. We will work together to achieve small and big goals and you will have me available for accountability.
How much does it cost to work with you?
A package of 6 individual sessions - $699.00
Positive Intelligence 6 week Boot Camp via and online application with 6 weeks of one on one sessions $999.00. Please refer to page on for a description of the Virtual Boot Camp.
How do we get started?

I will share a few tools and we can decide if we are a good fit to work together on your road of recovery.
